Is there a free tier?
Yes. Sign up free, no credit card. Free usage covers around 25 to 50 messages per month so you can test the product end to end. Upgrade to Lite or Premium when you hit the cap.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes for paid tiers. Lite, Premium, and Teams have annual options. Enterprise is annual by default. Talk to sales for multi-year terms.
Is there a free trial of Enterprise?
Yes, on request. Most Enterprise prospects start with a 2-week pilot to validate the methodology against an existing research dataset. Email [email protected] or book a call.
How do I cancel?
Self-serve from the billing page in your account. Cancel anytime; access remains until the end of the current billing period. Enterprise contracts follow the cancellation terms in the MSA.
Does Minds offer non-profit or academic pricing?
Yes, on request. Email [email protected] with details on the program.
Accuracy
What does "80 to 95 percent accuracy" mean?
It is the band Minds personas hit when benchmarked against historical real-human research data on the same questions. The exact number varies by persona, question type, and category.
Highest accuracy: opinions, preferences, language patterns, reactions to creative and messaging, objections.
Lower accuracy: predicting actual purchase behavior in unfamiliar categories, long-term retention forecasting, novel product categories with no public training signal.
How is accuracy measured?
By comparing AI panel responses to historical real-human research data on the same questions. Methodology details available on request; we are happy to walk through specifics with research-ops teams.
Should I trust the accuracy claim?
Validate against your own historical data before relying on synthetic for high-stakes decisions. We publish methodology, share benchmarks, and encourage triangulation. The category is moving fast and any single accuracy claim deserves healthy skepticism.
Why do you publish accuracy benchmarks when most competitors don't?
Because the category needs them. Synthetic research only earns trust if it is transparent about how well it actually predicts real-human responses. Most other AI persona platforms do not publish public accuracy benchmarks against real human responses. We do.
GDPR and data privacy
Is Minds GDPR compliant?
Yes. Minds is built in Berlin and SF, GDPR-native, with EU data residency available on Enterprise. We sign DPAs, publish a TOM (technical and organizational measures) document, and list our subprocessors at /legal/subprocessors.
Where is my data stored?
EU data residency (Germany) is available on Enterprise. Default tier uses standard cloud infrastructure (AWS, Cloudflare) with data processed in EU and US. Private uploads stay scoped to your workspace.
Will Minds train on my private data?
No. Private uploads (your interview transcripts, customer call recordings, internal docs) are not used to train shared models. They scope to your workspace and Minds.
Do you use customer data for product improvement?
Aggregated, anonymized usage signals only. Never private content. See /legal/dataprivacy for the full disclosure.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Self-serve account deletion from the billing page. Enterprise customers can request DPA-style deletion with a written confirmation.
Do you sign DPAs?
Yes. Standard DPA template at /legal/dpa. Custom DPAs negotiable for Enterprise.
Where do I find the subprocessor list?
/legal/subprocessors. We publish all third-party processors and notify on changes.
Is there a security overview?
/legal/tom covers our technical and organizational measures. SOC 2 progress on request.
Data sources
What data trains a Mind?
Public-web sources by default: LinkedIn, company sites, podcast transcripts, public articles, conference talks, public social posts. You can extend a Mind with your own knowledge base (interview transcripts, customer call recordings, internal research). Private uploads stay in your workspace.
Does Minds scrape paywalled or private data?
No. Public-web only by default. You can extend Minds with your own paid or private data; that stays in your workspace.
Does Minds use my CRM data?
Only if you connect it. Minds supports CRM imports (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) via integrations. Imported data is private to your workspace.
Are real people's LinkedIn profiles used to build Minds?
Yes for Expert Panels and named-persona simulations. Public profile data is fair use for research and simulation purposes. We respect robots.txt and platform ToS, and we honor takedown requests from individuals who do not want to be modeled.
Getting started
How do I get started?
Three steps:
- Create a Mind (about 30 seconds). Paste a LinkedIn URL or describe the persona.
- Build a panel (about 1 minute). Pick existing Minds or describe your target audience and let Minds generate one.
- Ask a question (about 1 to 3 minutes for the panel to respond). Drop in a stimulus (PDF, image, text) and see all Minds respond.

What's the fastest way to evaluate Minds?
Bring an existing research dataset (a brand tracker, a focus group transcript, a survey result you already have) and replicate one of the questions in Minds. Compare results. Most evaluators do this in 30 minutes and decide on the spot.
Do you do live demos?
Yes. Book 15 minutes and we'll run a live panel against your specific question.
Can I run a pilot?

Where is the API documentation?
/api/overview. Full reference for sparks (Minds), panels, knowledge, chat, and integrations.
Where is the MCP server?
/mcp/overview. Use Minds from any MCP-compatible AI client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.).
Where is the public roadmap?
We share roadmap on a per-customer basis with Enterprise teams. For consumer/Pro users, follow the Blog for product updates.
